The lodge provides guests with a fully equipped kitchen with a fridge and an oven. As a self-proclaimed Master Chef, I whipped up a culinary delight that would put Gordon Ramsay to shame. Picture this: Me, gracefully sautéing vegetables in a pan, tossing them expertly as if I were auditioning for a cooking show. It was a gastronomic masterpiece!
Electricity surcharge not stated.

The location of the lodge was perfect, with stunning views and a peaceful atmosphere. the room was clean and comfortable, providing a quiet retreat after a long day of exploring. the facilities for dogs were a great advantage, allowing us to bring our furry friends along. the veranda was a lovely addition, perfect for enjoying the beautiful surroundings.
The lack of clear information about extra charges for dogs and electricity was a disappointment.

We got great value for our money at the lodge, and the room was even nicer than we expected. The location was beautiful and the staff were really friendly and attentive.
The food for breakfast could have been better with a wider variety of options.

We recently stayed at a lovely lodge in a peaceful and scenic location. the lodge, although slightly dated, was larger than expected and well-equipped. the owners were very friendly and accommodating, always available to help. the lodge was also dog-friendly, which was a bonus for us. the walk to the nearby town was a bit daunting due to the narrow and busy road, but it was still manageable. our stay at Cosy & Compact Rowan Lodge No2 was enjoyable and we would definitely recommend it to others. Cons: Nothing, all excellent! 👍.

My girlfriend and I stayed at the charming and spacious Rowan Lodge for a few days. Despite being on a busy road, it was a beautiful and peaceful location, just a short walk from the town. The lodge was much larger than expected and had all the necessary facilities. We were particularly thrilled that they were so dog-friendly. The host was incredibly friendly, even checking in on us during our stay.
Would recommend this hotel.

The lodge was charming and larger than expected, with cleverly set out facilities. The location was first class, offering a peaceful getaway. The owners were lovely and always ready to help. The lodges had great facilities for dogs, and the veranda was a nice touch.
The extra charges for dogs and electricity were not clear upfront, which was a bit frustrating. The walk to the nearest town was quite long and along a busy road with no pavement for part of the way, making it difficult for car-free travelers.

The room was clean and comfortable, providing a quiet retreat. the scenic location was great, with easy access to walks and a short distance to the town center. the lodges were well-equipped, offering all the necessary facilities for a pleasant stay. the host was friendly and attentive, ensuring we had everything we needed throughout our visit.
The thin walls made it easy to hear noise from neighboring lodges, which could be disruptive at times. there was no salt or pepper available in the lodges, which would have been useful for cooking.
